The Literature Centre provides student workshops and writing programs in Western Australia. They also provide professional learning programs for teachers.

Public Education Foundation

Public Education Foundation gives scholarships to public school students, with financial challenges, to cover expenses critical to their education such as laptops, textbooks, uniforms so they do not feel excluded. The scholarships help students overcome barriers to achievement created by social and economic disadvantage. PEF have scholarships from primary to tertiary levels across Australia.

Teach for Australia

Teach for Australia offers leadership development programs for teachers, school leaders and mentors. They recruit teachers in schools serving low socioeconomic communities while also completing a Masters in education. More than half their placements are in regional, rural and remote locations where disadvantage and educational inequity is at its deepest.

Teach for Australia are seeking granting for their Mid-Year Community and Learning Event in WA. This event will deliver quality education for approximately 6800 vulnerable Western Australian young people so they have the knowledge and confidence to shine and ultimately have a future of their choosing.

Schools Plus

Schools Plus exists to help close the education gap caused by disadvantage. They believe all children should have access to a great education regardless of their background. As a registered charity, Schools Plus works with teachers and schools in disadvantaged areas to empower them with funding, coaching and resources to implement initiatives that will help their students succeed.

The Song Room

The Song Room is the only Australian education organisation delivering multi-year, multi-artform arts learning programs with student and teacher outcomes delivered in primary classrooms.

The Song Room addresses the education equity gap through an impactful approach to arts learning to enhance the education, personal development and community involvement of young people experiencing disadvantage - giving them the best possible start in life.

WA Institute for Educational Research

WAIER is focused on advocating for and promoting educational research in Western Australia, across all educational contexts. Our membership comprises educators, educational leaders, academics, and other professionals engaged in education.

Fremantle Press

Little Bookaburra Literacy Initiative

We are seeking one or more partners to the program which will run for an initial period of three years at a total cost of $600,000. The annual cost of the Books for Little Bookaburras program is $200,000.

This will cover the annual cost of printing and distributing three books to kindy aged children at every school or centre, the program administration costs as well as ensuring that the authors of the books receive royalties.

Food Ladder

Since 2010, Food Ladder have been using hydroponic technology and climate controlled greenhouses to provide remote and regional schools and communities with small scale food growing systems and specialised training resources so they can grow their own produce. This brings benefits such as improved access to healthy food, important life skills, increased health and nutrition, and education and career pathway outcomes.

The Smith Family

The Smith Family aims to improve the long-term educational outcomes of disadvantaged young Australians. They provide programs to improve literary and numeracy skills, and also provide sponsors to financially support disadvantaged families.

Armed For Life

Armed For Life is a social enterprise driven by the goal of helping children, teenagers and adults develop resilience and increase their wellbeing and mental health. Too often we struggle with issues such as depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts without reaching out and getting the help we need. Armed For Life strives to make it acceptable to ask for help.
