Impact100 Fremantle Site Visits & Grant Assessment Meeting
We are now up to the important Site Visit stage and final Grant Assessment Meeting of Impact100 Fremantle for 2019.
This is an opportunity for Impact100 Fremantle donors to “get outside of your every day” and take a firsthand look at our shortlisted applicants.
You will learn more about our community, meet the amazing people behind these projects and have the opportunity to ask questions about their applications.
In order to attend the Site Visits and the Grant Assessment Meeting, you need to have either pledged your support or paid your donation to Impact100 Fremantle for 2019.

Site Visit #1 – Australian Dental Health Foundation
The Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF) coordinates the delivery of pro bono dental treatment to socially disadvantaged members of the community
ADHF operates a full-service dental health clinic in Fremantle for people experiencing homelessness.

Site Visit #2 – Earbus Foundation
Earbus Foundation is a WA-based children’s charity that works to reduce the incidence of middle ear disease in Aboriginal and at-risk children in our state.
The Impact100 Fremantle grant will allow Earbus Foundation to deliver ear health screening, surveillance and treatment pathways for Aboriginal and at educational risk children in the Cities of Fremantle, East Fremantle, Cockburn and Melville.

Site Visit #3 – Inclusion Solutions
Inclusion Solutions work to facilitate, educate and influence individuals, organisations and communities on the benefits of social inclusion. They develop programs that connect peoples at risk of social exclusion and isolation with their own communities.
The WayFairer Project is an initiative that will impact on the health and wellbeing of our community by revolutionising how communities view and place value on older/mature age adults.

Site Visit #4 – Spare Parts Puppet Theatre
Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is Australia’s flagship puppetry company dedicated to the development and creation of the art form.
Spare Parts Puppet Theatre turns 40 in 2021 and are applying to the Impact100 Fremantle to support greater access and enjoyment of Puppetry over the next three years for all with a focus on young people and their families.

Site Visit #5 – Walyalup Kannajil
Walyalup Kannajil Community Choir is an inclusive community singing group based in Fremantle with a central focus on learning about local Whadjuck Noongar culture, history and language through song.
Facilitated by talented singer/song-writer Kobi Morrison (2018 NAIDOC Youth of the Year) from Aboriginal-led choir Madjitil Moorna – and joined regularly by special guest Aboriginal musicians and Elders – participants learn a range of songs about Aboriginal culture & history, sung in Noongar language & English – compositions written by Aboriginal musicians.

Site Visit #6 – Fremantle Mind Inc.
FremantleMind Inc. is unique because it gives everyone living in Greater Fremantle (both those with and without mental illness) the opportunity to access free evidence-based community mental health and wellbeing services delivered by registered mental health providers.
Their goal is to improve the mental health, wellbeing, and resilience of the Greater Fremantle community.

Site Visit #7 – St Patrick’s Community Support Centre
For more than 40 years, St Patrick’s has worked to provide immediate and holistic care for the homeless, those at risk of being homeless and the disadvantaged in Fremantle and the wider south west metropolitan area of Perth.
In 2020, to address the need for affordable homes, St Pats wants to build some tiny houses – compact homes on wheels that are suitable for singles, couples or small families.

Site Visit #8 – Black Swan Health
Established in 2014 as an independent not-for-profit company, with a mission to deliver health, mental health and disability services that achieve the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes for the community and for individuals who require care and support.
Black Swan Health delivers 19 tailored health, mental health, disability and wellbeing programs and services, including the iconic Freo Street Doctor.
