<image:title>Home - The WA Relief & Recovery Fund: COVID-19.</image:title>
<image:caption>People in our community, particularly those experiencing homelessness, families on low incomes, seniors, Indigenous Australian’s and those heavily reliant on sectors such as the arts, will face increased struggles because of reduced or lost income, food and housing insecurity and health needs. We are partnering with our WA non profit organisations who are providing vital services to address the immediate and long-term needs of our community. To date, we have had a strong outpouring of leadership support and over $300,000 in funding. But we know much more will be needed! In just the first few weeks of COVID-19, we received more than $500,000 in requests for funding. The Fremantle Foundation is inviting our donors, the wider philanthropic community, the WA public and funding partners to join us to ensure our community is served by addressing both the immediate needs of the community, and also the long road to recovery. To donate and learn more about the fund click below. Note: To encourage donors to keep giving, FIA (Fundraising Institute Australia) is lobbying for a bonus charity tax deduction incentive for Australian taxpayers providing a 150% greater tax deduction on donations before 30 June, as well as extension to this benefit to the first quarter of the new financial year to encourage giving beyond 30 June. FIA is also lobbying for a tax offset for companies who donate with incentives based on corporate size and donation value.</image:caption>

<image:title>Impact100 - How It Works - How Impact100 Works</image:title>
<image:caption>Impact100 Fremantle is based on the international Impact100 collective giving model that exists to create stronger, more connected communities that transform lives around the world. Established in 2013, Impact100 Fremantle is a group of Fremantle people, pooling their resources to make a lasting, positive impact on the well-being of the community. This year marks 10 years of Impact100 Fremantle, together we have collectively granted over $1,200,000 to support many local charitable organisations in the greater Fremantle area. This philanthropic model is run as a special program under the broader Fremantle Foundation which manages, in addition to Impact100 Fremantle, a $2.5 million-dollar endowment for the community, on behalf of individual and family fund holders across Western Australia.</image:caption>
